中美貿易戰開打，中國大陸人民仇美、反川普的情緒逐漸高漲，為了消除憤怒，有賣家在淘寶上推出這個「川普馬桶刷」，一躍登上熱門排行，在網路上引起熱烈討論，藉著「用川普刷馬桶」來一解怒氣！

根據《每日郵報》報導，近期在大陸掀起一股購買「川普馬桶刷」的熱潮，以表達他們對大陸政府的支持。這支馬桶刷被做成川普的模樣，身穿深藍色西裝、打著紅色領帶，舉著右手似乎在大喊口號，號稱能夠360度徹底清潔，被大陸網友笑稱，「原來川普還是有用的」。

除了馬桶刷之外，川普的人像也被做成各種商品，其中一項熱銷產品是「川普捲筒衛生紙」，衛生紙上被印滿川普的人像，剛好可以和馬桶刷湊成「廁所好夥伴」的組合。這股「川普商品熱」在北京政府呼籲人民起來對抗限時下殺網路人氣商品top10美國後，燒得更加旺盛。

事實上，川普馬桶刷在去年11月就已經推出，惡搞川普的競選口號，打著「讓你的馬桶再次偉大」的標語放上Etsy販售，而當時這款馬桶刷更被取名為「便便指揮官」，讓民眾愛不釋手，一上架就造成搶購，迅速賣光。
